News from Seymour College

Seymour College runs a program which supports the study of Indigenous students. This year, the Scots Church Council made a donation on behalf of Scots towards the program.

Lynne Moten, the Director of Service Learning at Seymour writes:

The donation of $1200 towards our Indigenous Students Program was highly beneficial in allowing girls to fully engage with the teaching and learning programs of the College, buying essential equipment and resources to enable them to access the activities that their non-indigenous classmates can do routinely. Specifically, the students are often engaged in 21st Century Learning practices at Seymour, meaning that they need to work collaboratively, develop inquiry, problem solving and collaboration skills, and have access to a range of online resources. This kind donation was instrumental in allowing the students to take part in those processes.

At Seymour, we value our connection with Scots Church, and your ongoing support.
