Film Morning at the CAPRI
"The Lady in the Van"

The Capri Theatre, 141 Goodwood Road Goodwood Wednesday 27th April. 9.45 morning tea, 10.00 organ recital, 10.30 film.
 
Based on a true story, the film tells of the singular Miss Shepherd, a woman of uncertain origins, who 'temporarily' parks her van in Alan Bennett's driveway and proceeds to live there for 15 years.
 
Tickets $12.00 from Norah Norris. Scots Church Fellowship shares in the proceeds of this morning. This film is released in March, but why not wait for April to enjoy it with morning tea and the organ recital, all for a very good cause!

 

The UCA Historical Society is hosting a History Writing Workshop
Sunday 10th April, 1.30 - 4.30pm, 
Church of the Trinity, Goodwood Road Clarence Park
 
A team from History SA will lead participants in looking at: 
Interpreting and writing history
"What is Good History?"
Writing history for books
Writing history for online
Writing interpretive panels for exhibitions etc.
Research sources, editorial conventions, publishing procedures
