The “Secular” City: Australia 2010.  Rev Tim Costello, CEO World Vision Australia.  Tim was minister at Collins St Baptist Church, Melbourne, for many years and Mayor of St Kilda.  He founded Urban Seed, a not-for-profit Christian outreach service to the urban poor.  For many, he is the public voice of the social conscience of Australia.

The City as Contested Space. A panel discussion on the political, commercial, social and cultural pressures that are present in Australia cities.  How do we anticipate or respond to these forces in a faithful way?  The panel will comprise three UCA lay leaders who have been actively involved as town planners and community advocates in urban planning, policies, protests, planning and decision making over many years.
